Golf in Louisiana
We have 145 golf courses in Louisiana in our golf course database.
There are 194 courses throughout the state of Louisiana. The densest cities, as far as golf courses go, are Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Shreveport. During Hurricane Katrina, many of the Louisiana golf courses were ruined. Since then, course crews have been putting their hearts and souls into getting the fairways cleared and the greens back to their prime conditions. Now, Louisiana is back on the map for being one of the best golf locations in all of the United States of America. One course that was completely devastated by the storm was the Tournament Players Club of Louisiana. The course reopened in 2006, and has since been host of PGA events. The course is a big hit with golfers from all over the world.

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!
Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
